How To Profit During The Weak Economic Environment

Whilst the outlook for economic backdrop remains weak, the current market brings opportunities for well run and entrepreneurial businesses. We have discussed the merits of numerous government schemes put in place to stimulate the UK economy in recent posts. The Funding For Lending Scheme makes available cheap credit for small businesses and the SEIS (or Seed) Scheme offers significant tax breaks for angel investors. Whilst critics point out that the Funding For Lending does not appear to have increased bank lending and the availability of credit to small businesses we point out that a well run business with quality management and a strong business plan will not find much difficulty in raising finance. In fact, strong businesses will find that they are eligible for more competitive interest rates from their banks. Feel free to contact us on 0207 043 0052 for further details. Belsize Accountancy are specialist accountants for contractors and small businesses.
