Brazil has moved above the UK to establish itself as the sixth largest economy in the World. This is driven by a very large population with a growing manufacturing industry and a wealth of natural resources. The Brazilian economy is expected to continue to grow in the build up to hosting the2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics.
The US remains as the World’s largest economy followed by China, Japan, Germany and France. India and Russia are expected to grow and possibly leapfrog both the UK and Brazil over the next 10 years.
